The Library @ River Oaks has a goal to offer a variety of materials for curriculum work and recreational reading such as: picture books, beginner chapter books, chapter books, non-fiction books, reference, comic books, graphic novels, Caldecott Award Winners, and Newbery Award winners.

 

Another goal of the library is to promote effective users, creators of ideas and inquiry based researchers along the path of life-long learning.

 

Our Library is meant to be a space where these goals can be accomplished by:

· providing access to materials in all formats.

· working together to provide instruction that allows all students to achieve success.

· motivating interest in reading, viewing and using information and ideas in various formats.

· providing a multi-resource filled and comfortable place to curl up and read a good book.
