Take a look at where many of us are working from in Maslow's "Hierarchy of Needs". Abraham Maslow (born 1908) was an American psychologist who was best known for creating "Maslow's hierarchy of needs", which is a theory of psychological health.
We are all just doing our best, right?
Welcome to Health Class!
Here, we will be focused on the most important aspect of E-learning in Health and that is our OWN personal health!
We will focus on Social-Emotional Learning Skills and Healthy Living, learning skills that help us recognize sources of stress, cope with challenges and support our mental and physical health. We’ll also learn about Active Living: being able to explain how being physically active can help to moderate strong feelings and emotions; Movement Competence: take a deep breath to centre yourselves when feeling overwhelmed. Healthy Living: do your best to make sure that you are doing things to help you grow and be healthy like getting enough sleep and eating in healthy ways so you can meet daily challenges and participate fully in new and successful ways.
