BIENVENUE! WELCOME JUNIORS!

Le 6 avril-

NOTE:

I have added more adjective practice on

USEFUL LINKS AND RESOURCES! DO What you can when you can at your best ability!

With all of the other things you have to accomplish, let's start off reviewing and gently diving a little deeper into the use of ADJECTIVES when writing and speaking French.

BAck at the HOME page, please go to the LINKS AND RESOURCES page where you will find a PINK button that says JUNIOR. This will always be the place to go each week after this page. Press it and it will bring you to a page where you can review ADJECTIVE AGREEMENT (there is a LOT of adjective stuff on this page- just go to the AGREEMENT section!) READ all about adjective agreement.Recall what we did in class. And when you think you are ready, take the quiz! If  you make errors (like I did- partly because I had trouble making accents on my keyboard!) you can always try again. And again... until you feel you have the hang of this adjective agreement thing.

When you are done, continue to read below to prepare for the next week's assignment. (You are going to write a simple story, and learn how to illustrate it with string games! WHAT? Yes, it's true! String games in French Class? MAIS OUI! (You will use them for the rest of your life!)

  21. Tie in the consonant and the vowel  (use your gut instinct!)

APRIL 20

To prepare for the STRING STORY project:

Step 1

Get yourself a STRING. How long? Two arms lengths. Yarn works well, a looong shoe lace or go into your camping gear (with permission) and get a thin piece of polypropylene rope. Not too thick! Tie it together so you now have one big loop.

Step 2

Try out the string tricks as demontrated by McB on video.Adhere to the safety rules. NEVER EVER put the string around your neck, or someone else's neck, not for fun, not for anything unless you are trying a trick from Camilla Gryski's book, and your parent is present. Got that? Good.

Step 3

NOTE: If you do not have a string, just CHOOSE the string tricks you would like to have in your story and pick a later date to learn them.  This is going to be BEAUCOUP DE FUN!!
