Information for Parents

Dear Gladys Speers Families,

Bonjour! I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to my website! 

As your child's French, Dance/Drama/Science/Coverage/Health teacher, I would like to give you some information about my new and ever (hopefully) improving online Program.

Junior Core French students will continue onto our final unit (emphasis on reading skills) and review all terms and concepts learned this year as much as possible. 

Primary Core French will lay the foundation for the development of strong oral communication skills. The emphasis here will be on listening and speaking through music, books, and online activities. We will be covering such topics as:

• introducing ourselves in French

• counting numbers 1-10

• naming the colours

• identifying weather conditions and clothing

• other authentic and relevant topics for the rest of the year.

Please have your child complete as much or as little as you can manage. Your child loves to learn, and loves French- that is the most important foundation of any language. We are already there.
